Catalan cuisine is one of the most prestigious internationally, as it is one of the territories in Spain with the most Michelin Stars, 69 in total spread through the region and through different 53 restaurants. 4 restaurants with three Michelin Stars, 8 restaurants with two stars and 41 restaurants with one star.
Barcelona city continues leading the ranking of the country with 24 Michelin starred restaurants and 35 Michelin Stars. Those recognitions turn the city as one of the world’s leading dining capitals. Cocina Hermanos Torres is the new incorporation with three stars, joining ABaC Barcelona by Jordi Cruz and Lasarte Hotel Condes de Barcelona by Berasategui.

Two new Green Stars have been added to Catalonia, an award that recognises restaurants which are leading the game in sustainability. Those restaurants are Les Moles * and Casa Nova, who join Celler de Can Roca ***, Cocina Hermanos Torres ***, Els Casals *, L’Antic Molí *, Les Cols **, Lluerna *, Casa Albets and Somiatruites.
Also, 3 new Bib Gourmand restaurants added to the list below, distinguished restaurants that offer a refined cuisine without reaching the star, and at an affordable price. Additionally, Michelin rewards chefs with the Chef Mentor award, which this year has been awarded to Joan Roca from El Celler de Can Roca (Girona, Costa Brava).

5 restaurants made their debut and received their first Michelin Star: Aleia, Mont Bar, Slow & Low, COME by Paco Méndez and Enigma with Albert Adrià in charge.
Catalonia is focusing to promote gastronomy and wine tourism in 2023 and beyond to highlight it as one of the most important experiences visitors can discover when visiting the destination.
Catalonia will participate at the Taste of London event in June to bring some Catalan gastronomy and wine experiences in the United Kingdom.
