In a effort to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility, the Pacific Tourism Organization (SPTO) in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme’s (SPREP) Australia Government-funded Pacific Ocean Litter Project have launched the ‘This for That’ innovation drive aimed at eliminating single-use plastics from the Pacific tourism industry.
The campaign was revealed during the South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE2026) held in March in Nadi, Fiji in which Samoa Tourism also supported, demonstrating its commitment to phasing out single-use plastics (SUPs) and preserving the health of our islands and ocean ecosystems.
