The cruise tourism industry in Samoa appears to be on a steady trajectory with the confirmation of 26 ships set to visit Samoa up to December this year. This number does not include ships that have already been confirmed to visit up to the year 2026, and the number of ships may increase in the future.
The industry has demonstrated its growth potential and is on track to recover.
Samoa welcomed its first cruise ship, MS Nautica, which berthed at the Apia Harbour this month. The arrival of the ship has brought bustling energy to the township of Samoa as it brought over 576 passengers and 393 crew members.
