Czechia has achieved a major milestone with the launch of the nationwide 2025 edition of the Michelin Guide Czechia”, which for the first time recognises outstanding restaurants across the entire country — not only in Prague. This expansion highlights Czechia’s growing reputation as a top European gastronomic destination.
Leading the selection is Papilio in Vysoký Újezd, which made history as the first restaurant in the country to receive Two Michelin Stars. In addition, eight restaurants were awarded One Michelin Star, reflecting the diversity and creativity of Czech cuisine.
The guide also recognised 18 Bib Gourmand restaurants for excellent value and four Green Star establishments for their commitment to sustainability. In total, dozens of restaurants across Czechia are now featured, showcasing everything from modern fine dining to refined regional traditions.
With this nationwide recognition, Czechia firmly secures its place on Europe’s culinary map — inviting travellers to discover exceptional dining experiences throughout the country.
