The Samoa Tourism Authority (STA) rolled out the red carpet for their very first overnight cruise ship visit on 22 and 23 November. This great achievement reflects Samoa’s commitment to meeting up with the who’s who of the cruise industry at the annual SeaTrade event in the USA.
Visitors from the cruise ship enjoyed delightful stays at local hotels and resorts, indulging in the rich tapestry of Samoan culture and warm hospitality.
This progress represents a major achievement in Samoa’s cruise tourism development and opens the door to even more exciting prospects ahead.
This year, 26 cruise ships were scheduled to visit Samoa’s shores, attracting many visitors eager to explore the islands. Looking ahead, 27 cruise ships are lined up for 2025, promising a year of growth and bustling activity for the tourism sector.
