Dominican Republic Tourist Board now has links to major social media sites Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The Tourist Board utilises these major media sites to feature images, video clips, event invitations, blog feeds, discussion boards, details of destination attractions, recipes to try and a link to the Dominican Republic Tourism website. www.godominicanrepublic.com. Users of these social media sites will have the ability to add “Go Dominican Republic” to their favourite fan pages and access these features and information free of charge. Users will also be invited to take part in a special interactive feature allowing them to post their own photographs and holiday snaps, offer reviews and travel tips and enter discussion panels. Video footage will also engage and allow fans of “Go Dominican Republic” to directly experience the island.
