Harry Judd – star of McBusted and Strictly Come Dancing - will join showbiz friends and cricketing legends for a very special Pro-Celebrity Cricket Tour in Antigua & Barbuda to celebrate Lord’s Taverners 65th Anniversary this October.

Cricketing luminaries including Sir Viv Richards, Mike Gatting OBE and Luke Wright, will head to the sun with stars such as Harry, comedian Nick Hancock and BBC Radio DJ Mark Chapman for five days of first class cricket staged against the stunning backdrop of the twin jewels of the Caribbean.

The tour, running from 12 to 16 October, celebrates the 65th anniversary of Lord’s Taverners, the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity. The Lord’s Taverners will undertake various initiatives during the tour to help create sporting chances for young people in Antigua and Barbuda.

Antigua and Barbuda, a twin-island state in the Eastern Caribbean, is a year-round world class cricket destination. With an incredible 365 beaches and an impressive national cricket stadium, there’s no shortage of space to enjoy the Caribbean’s favourite pastime.

Harry commented:

“It’s a real honour to be invited to bat and bowl with my cricketing heroes and the Lord’s Taverners in Antigua and Barbuda. It’s a destination where cricketing history has been made and one of the best places for cricket fans, like myself, to indulge in their love of the sport. I’m also looking forward to relaxing on one of Antigua’s stunning 365 beaches after the match”

Sir Viv Richards said:

There’s nowhere better to be than Antigua and Barbuda when the cricket’s in town! The Lord’s Taverner’s have always had close links to Antigua and Barbuda having raised £25,000 towards the restoration of the island’s St John’s Anglican Cathedral just last year. I believe very strongly that all young people should have access to sport so the Lord’s Taverners is a charity very close to my heart.”
