On the first day of the World Travel Market (@WTM_London), a panel of experts from the ANTOR membership got together to discuss how destinations can be misperceived through cultural differences, media coverage, political or social change, or even third party promotions. All delegates had the opportunity to ask questions and to give their input on how misperceptions are managed in their destinations.

The following directors were on the panel; Tracey Poggio, Gibraltar, Keith Beecham, Rolando Aedo, Miami and Sandra Ishmael, Holland. Each panellist gave their views on how misperceptions can be reversed to show what a destination really has to offer, or when they are a reality, overcome.
