ANTOR's 2018 Annual Review

ANTOR's 2018 Annual Review took place in January at the Army & Navy Club, attended by over 20 directors of tourism with speakers from the Tourism Alliance; Director Kurt Janson, ABTA Magazine; Editor Jo Fletcher-Cross and Spinning Globe's Nigel Fell. Networking followed in the Club's bar. "Good speakers and an informative evening" commented many attendees including Guernsey and Qatar.

Members learnt that 70.8 m foreign trips were taken from the UK in 2017 up 8% and mobile bookings increased to 20%. While PSD2 will be a focus in 2018 along with Brexit markets to target are gastronomy, cruising millennials, silver adventure travellers and coach tours. Follow up meetings with British tourism Brexit experts will take place.
