Travellers to Antigua and Barbuda in 2013 can enjoy the annual Wadadli Day celebrations on 23 February, perfect for culture-seekers and foodies alike. The open air festival puts on a show of Antigua and Barbuda’s best traditional arts, crafts, food, games, music and entertainment. With specific activities put in place for children, the festival is a fantastic family event providing an opportunity to support the islands traditions and culture.

The island will take centre stage 01-03 March 2013 when Antigua and Barbuda host part of the exceptional Naniki Jazz Safari, a new and unique cultural tourism event with a variety of concerts and music workshops. Naniki has welcomed a variety of world renowned jazz musicians in the past, with 2013 shows scheduled to take place at the Grand Royal Antiguan Resort and the famous Lookout at Shirley Heights.

Antigua, known as the Sailing Capital of the Caribbean, will host Antigua Sailing Week, one of the premier sailing events in the world, from 27 April to 03 May 2013. The show’s international status attracts participants from all over the world and for visitors left on dry land, the party schedule is extensive, and there is plenty of exciting spectator opportunities across the island throughout the week.  Yachting enthusiasts will enjoy the many other yachting events, including the Round the Island Race on 19 January 2013, Super Yacht Challenge Antigua on 25-27 January 2013 and the Valentine’s Day Regatta from 07 to 10 February 2013.

Experience luxury, with a romantic catamaran tour around the island, cocktails and entertainment at the new Bubba’s restaurant, and a whole host of relaxing treatments at some of the island’s top spas.
